Kim Marie Vaz
Kim Marie Vaz is the associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of education at Xavier University of Louisiana. She has researched and written about women’s lives for over 20 years, most notably The Woman with the Artistic Brush, A life History of Nike Davies from M.E. Sharpe, Inc. She is also the author of the critically acclaimed book, The “BABY DOLLS”: Breaking the Race and Gender Barriers of the New Orleans Mardi Gras Tradition.
