Don Murray

Don Murray made his Broadway debut in 1951 as Jake Hunter in Tennessee Williams’ The Rose Tattoo. He is best known for his work as Beauregard “Bo” Decker in the 1956 film version of Bus Stop, where he appeared opposite Marilyn Monroe. His work on “Bus Stop” earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and a BAFTA nomination for Most Promising Newcomer. In 1979 Murray played Sid Fairgate in the long-running television series “Knots Landing.”
